Personal Projects: Daily Poster Challenge
_
Overview/
I came across a YouTube video by The Futur featuring Roy Cranston, a New York-based graphic designer, and his one-year daily poster challenge. Roy shared his thought process on layout composition, where he drew his inspiration from, and how he documented his ideas.
Inspired by his challenge, I decided to create a poster a day during my 14-day quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic. This exercise allowed me to experiment with new design techniques ( such as the duo-tone effect, glitch effect, gradient frost, and type experiment) and apply them to my work. The main idea was to challenge myself to be creative and generate new ideas within a limited time frame.

1.Taiwanese American Professional-SF(TAP-SF)
Overview/
TAP–SF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the Taiwanese-American community through professional development and meaningful connections. During my tenure as Design Chair/Lead, I developed and oversaw a cohesive suite of marketing collateral designed to elevate brand visibility and increase engagement across campaigns and public events.
The system spans digital and physical touchpoints, including Facebook event banners, email graphics, flyers, festival booklets, and branded swag such as T-shirts, caps, and name badges. The goal was to create a unified visual language that feels contemporary, culturally resonant, and community-driven, while remaining flexible enough to support a wide range of programming and audiences.
